Our training combines hands-on learning in the computer lab and production studio with distance learning from new media, film and television experts in the U.S. and elsewhere.

Our goal is to educate and prepare Rwandan students at many age levels for production work in video, visual effects and 3D not just for film and TV, but for all industries from education to tourism that need employees with these skills.

The program is not intended to be a standard school. The structure is designed to cultivate production artists capable of developing high-quality work with relatively minimal supervision.

The first phase began in March 2012 with the opening of our first computer lab kitted with 27-inch iMac computers and a pilot group of 20 students. Since then we have opened a second computer lab, a green screen room and East Africa's only motion capture studio.
