Africa Digital Media Academy is a vocational training school in Kigali, Rwanda. We provide students with skills in 3D computer graphics, animation, motion capture and video production and more so they can work in all areas of the digital media industry.

ADMA Students Form Their Own Independent Animation Studio

A small group of ADMA students, who learned animation on previous ADMA cartoons projects such as "Children and Birds", have now started their own animation studio and are already publishing content.

This video here is the first short cartoon from Funafrica Studios!

The ADMA students who created the above animation learned these skills with instructor Alfred Muchilwa, animating in OpenToonz with asset creation in Illustrator/Photoshop, and gained valuable experience on the ADMA project “Children and Birds”, which you can see here.

You will see a lot of common names in the credits of both videos!

ADMA Films at Ministry Of Health

Today, an ADMA team which included student Hirwa Yves Raj B and graduate Lievain Rucyaha filmed an interview with the Minister Of Health, Dr. Diane GASHUMBA.

The footage will be a part of a video hi-lighting the important work and successes that community health workers are achieving on the front lines of Rwanda's public health sector.

When completed, the video will be showcased at the Kigali Convention Centre in front of thousands of visitors for an upcoming family planning conference.

This crew of students was the youngest team there producing such highly technical content, showing that ADMA is walking the walk and Africa's future is in good hands!

Every crew member running the room were current or former ADMA students, from producers, to technical director, livestream operator, graphics switcher, camera operators, production assistants.
